Starbucks date
I love Starbucks. and it's hard to pass up a good deal.
today was the last day Starbucks Frappuccinos were half off between 3 and 5 p.m. and I had a coupon for a free cake pop. we made a date out of it. it was the perfect way to spend our Sunday afternoon.
I had been wanting to try their new Frappuccino flavor: Mocha Cocnut...
I chose the Rocky Road kind:
it was delicious! it didn't last long - we shared it!
Entertaining Weatherman
My surf-loving husband is always tuned into the upcoming weather forecast to make sure he knows when to catch the best waves! It's an on-going thing in our home that when the weatherman starts talking everyone else stops talking so my husband can hear the forecast. I think our local weatherman needs to learn a few tips from this guy... it would make for a much more entertaining forecast!!
My Boy and His Board
Dating and then marrying a dedicated surfer makes me realize there's a real art to waxing up a board just right, getting a wet suite that fits perfectly and finding a surf spot where the tide and swell are alligned to create the best surfable wave. It's a good thing I love the beach too! Although I rather be sitting and reading a book or magazine rather than catching waves...
